A motorcyclist walks away uninjured after crashing his bike Tuesday afternoon on Dillon Falls Road.
According to Muskinugm County Sheriff's Deputy Paisley, the driver of a Honda VTR motorcycle was travelling west on Dillon Falls Road when he went off the right side of the roadway, lost control and went into a ditch.
Deputy Paisley says the man was wearing a helmet.
He says the motorcyclist will be cited with failure to control.
A Fairfield County man is dead after an early morning accident.
It happened around 4 a.m. on BIS Road, near Ross Road.
The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.
Sheriff Dave Phalen says 22-year-old Allen Nutter was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The other occupant in the vehicle, 22-year-old Aaron Kline, was taken to Fairfield Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries and released.
Three people are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after an accident on the East Pike.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. in front of the Do-It Center.
Zanesville Post Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall of the State Highway Patrol says a black van driven by 44-year-old Eric Culp of Zanesville was attempting to turn out of the Do-It Center when it struck the red Dodge Stratus, traveling west on the East Pike driven by Amanda Prindle of Zanesville.
Two people are taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus after an accident along State Route 13 in Newark.
It happened just after 10 a.m., north of Chestnut Hills Road.
The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says Jim Everheart was driving south on State Route 13 with passenger Crystal Loman when the vehicle went left of center and struck Deborah Paxton, who was traveling north. Dispatchers say Everheart's car did flip.
