One person is sent to the hospital after an accident on State Route 93 Friday.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 93 and Old Adamsville Road in Washington Township.

According to Trooper Todd Henry with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Earl West of Zanesville was traveling northbound on State Route 93 when he turned in front of a southbound vehicle driven by 28-year-old Jeffrey Paynter of Zanesville.

A two vehicle accident sends a  New Concord woman to the hospital and backs up traffic on Interstate 70 in Zanesville.

It happened around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on I-70 east near the State Street on ramp.

According to Zanesville Police Lt. Tony Coury, 19-year-old Chelsey Warne was getting onto I-70 east from State Street, lost control of her car and hit the concrete median.

A morning accident could spell problems for American Electric Customers in the Military Road area.

Zanesville Police says a van crashed into a power pole at the intersection of Military Road and Sandhurst minutes after 8 Wednesday morning.

Police say that there are lines down in the south lanes and the power pole is snapped in half.

Two people are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after a four car accident.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Northpointe Drive and State Route 146 in Zanesville.

Zanesville Police Patrolman James Devoll says the red car smashed into the beige car. It caused the beige car to run into the gray PT Cruiser and the gray PT Cruiser to run into the green truck.

A three car accident backs up traffic along Maple Avenue.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. in front of Tlaquepaque. The Zanesville Police Department says three cars in the left, northbound lane were involved in what looks like a fender-bender accident.

A woman was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

An accident in Cannelville this afternoon between a car and a tractor sends one person to the hospital.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of North and Webster Street.

Trooper Stephen Williams says the tractor was attempting to pull into a private drive when it was struck from behind by the car, carrying a juvenile driver and passenger.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident that happened on private property shortly after 5 o'clock this evening in Newton Township.

US 36 in Coshocton County is finally open after a crash involving two semi trucks.

It happened around 11:45 a.m. in front of Walmart, near Airport Road.

Deputy Charlie George says both semi trucks were traveling west. He says Hank Williams failed to see slowed traffic ahead and attempted to serve to the left. A Zanesville woman is charged in connection with a hit and skip accident last week at the intersection of Pine Street and Prospect Avenue.

The Zanesville Police Department says 24-year-old Kristen Frank was driving north on Pine Street with her three kids, ages six, three, and two, when she struck an 11-year-old boy who was crossing the road on his bike.

A Genesis Good Samaritan employee is taken to the hospital after a one car accident.

It happened around 7:15 p.m.

Lieutenant Tony Coury says Brandon Kennedy was attempting to turn out of a Genesis Good Samaritan parking lot when he began suffering from a medical condition. He says the car proceeded to cross Hazel Avenue, bust through two fences, and pass through two Laurel Avenue backyards before coming to a rest.
