A Chevy truck is badly damaged after a two vehicle accident on the West Pike in Zanesville.

It happened around 12:20 p.m. right outside the Starfire Gas Station.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Wes Archer says Jorge Preciado and passenger-Giovanni Ortuno-both from Nevada, were turning out of the gas station when they struck a Ford truck, driven by Derek Watiker. Watiker was traveling west in the left lane.

Authorities have closed the westbound lanes of U.S. 40 near the  McDonald's restaurant due to a two vehicle accident.

The accident was reported around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities expect to have the roadway closed for at least a half hour.

Interstate 70 is re-opened after an accident involving a semi truck shut it down for hours today.

Both lanes of the highway were cleared for traffic at about 6 p.m. this evening. This morning around 8 a.m. a semi, carrying nine vehicles, rolled on I-70 westbound just after the new Concord exit.

Near the intersection of Dietz Lane and Ellerman Drive this evening a car rolled over.

It happened shortly after 7 p.m. according to Trooper Henry, 19-year old Kristopher Burkhart was driving a black Mitsubishi Eclipse, traveling north on Dietz Lane when he lost control and hit an embankment, causing the car to roll over.

There was one other person in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but neither were transported to the hospital.

An accident on State Route 60 injures four people including a small child.

According to Trooper Todd Henry with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, around 5 p.m. near the Homestead along State Route 60.

20-year old Amanda Myers was pulling out of a private driveway on to State Route 60, when a Navy Alero, driven by Andrew Parrish struck the vehicle.

Five people are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after a two car crash, just outside of Roseville.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Trenas Weaver says the white car was traveling on Heckel Road, when the driver, 18-year-old Ryan Wingrove, failed to yield at a stop sign. That car went through the intersection and was struck by the driver in the green car, 24-year-old Jamie Gilvin, who was traveling south on State Route 93.

An accident late Thursday afternoon sent one car off the road and the driver to the hospital.

It happened around 4:30 Thursday.Sergeant Chris Phipps with the Zanesville Police Department says the white cavalier failed to yield at the stop sign at Military and North Pointe and pulled out into traffic and hit the silver corolla. An accident in Newton Township sent six children to the hospital Thursday afternoon.

The two car accident happened at U.S. 22 and State Route 93.

"We got there and there was two cars involved, we had help from the South Zanesville Fire Department, Falls Township and Community Ambulance and six people were transported to the hospital," says Josh Bryan with the Newton Township Fire Department.

Three people are sent to the hospital after a head-on collision on I-70.

According to Zanesville State Highway Patrol Post Commander Steven Rine, a silver G6 was headed west-bound on the interstate, when the driver lost control, bumped another car and crossed into the median. The car then crossed into the oncoming traffic of the east-bound lane and hit a green Buick head-on.

The Zanesville Highway Patrol now says both lanes of  I-70 Eastbound near Gratiot have re-opened after an accident.  It happened around 1:00 pm and involved several vehicles.  Med-Flight was called to the scene, but cannot respond due to the weather. Initial reports indicate there are serious injuries as a result of the accident.  No other details have been released.
