Two people are taken to the hospital after a one car crash.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Marne Road in Newark.

Hanover Township Fire Department Dispatcher Clay Lamb says crews arrived on the scene to find a car that had rolled over.

He says one person was found outside the vehicle on the road with serious injuries. That person was MedFlighted to OSU Medical Center in Columbus.

A car crashes into a pole, sending two people to the hospital and knocking down a power line.

It happened around 7 p.m. at the corner of Woodlawn Avenue and Pierce Street in Zanesville.

Witnesses say the car was traveling down Woodlawn when it continued straight, instead of turning, and hit the pole.

It is still under investigation.

Three people are taken to hospital after a two car accident.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 719 and Moxahala Avenue.

Zanesville Police Department Lieutenant Tony Courey says the driver of the truck 48-year-old Raymond Nicholson of Zanesville was traveling west on State Route 719 when he struck 73-year-old Sylvia Stutes and her husband of Duncan Falls.

A man was Life Flighted to Grant Medical Center after a one car accident Friday.

According to Trooper Todd Henry with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, shortly after 7:20 Friday, 29-year-old Leeann Ross of Zanesville was driving northbound on South Rehl Road when her vehicle slid. Henry says she over corrected and went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree on the passenger side.

A 26-year-old woman is taken to the hospital after a morning accident.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Canal Road in Frazyesburg.

Zanesville Post Sergeant Mike Forshey says Ashley McCoy lost control of her vehicle. She went off the left side of the road through a fence and into a canal.

Forshey says McCoy was in the car for about 45 minutes with water up to her waist. She was taken to the hospital with possible back and neck injuries and hypothermia.

The Zanesville Highway Patrol says the eastbound lanes of I-70 at Norwich were closed this morning. A dispatcher says an accident closed down the highway a ittle before 7:30 am. U.S. Route 40 is an alternate route. The Highway is now reopened.

A 29-year-old woman is taken to the hospital after a rollover accident.

It happened around 3:50 p.m. on Ohio 79.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says Sabrina Hutton of Newark was traveling north on Ohio 79, when she attempted to turn left onto Wayne Avenue. 41-year-old John Baron was also traveling north and attempting to pass Hutton on the left hand side, striking the vehicle. Dispatchers say the impact caused Hutton's vehicle to roll onto its side.

Two men are in the hospital Wednesday night after an accident on Coopermill Road.

It happened around 5 p.m. near 2631 Coopermill Road.

During the cold, winter months, weather can easily cause accidents around Southeastern Ohio, but so can another culprit--deer.

A man was pinned under his car around 1:45 Sunday afternoon after it came off its stand.

Washington Township Fire Chief, Gene Hanning, says a man at 2425 Earnhardt Drive was working on his van when it slipped off the stand and pinned him under it from the chest down. Firefighters were able to lift the car off him and the man was taken to the hospital by Community Ambulance.
