Around 5 p.m. Sunday night an injury accident involving three vehicles occurred on Maysville Pike U.S. Route 22 that shut down traffic for hours and sent many to the hospital.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that a green Chevy Silverado truck, that was connected to a camper trailer, came through the intersection at U.S. Route 22 and State Route 345 and collided with two Washington County women driving motorcycles.

Zanesville Police say an 18-year-old male was riding his bike on Perry Lane when a white pick-up truck turned off of Shelby Street onto Perry Lane and hit the man on his bike.
The white pick-up truck fled the scene of the accident and the victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Community Ambulance. The extent of his injuries is unknown. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Zanesville Police Department at 740-452-0700
The crash happened on Perry Road in Zanesville just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. State Highway Trooper Brian Hawkins says speed played a factor when a vehicle lost control and went off the side of the road and says the two occupants in the vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
The two passengers are not the owners of the vehicle and could have possible injuries. Hawkins says he has descriptions of the passengers and is trying to locate them.
