ZANESVILLE, OHIO- The Zane State College Foundation held its 8th Annual “Afternoon Tee” Event at the Zanesville Country Club on Monday.

Female golfers from around the area came out to the Zanesville Country Club Monday to celebrate women's education.

Area ladies tee'd it up Monday afternoon to help female students receive an education.

Fourteen teams of women took part in the 6th annual Afternoon Tee--Drive for Women's Golf Outing. The money raised from the event will help fund scholarships for ladies at Zane State College. Women helping other women was the mission at a golfing event on Monday.

The Fifth Annual Afternoon Tee Women Golf Outing took place at the Zanesville Country Club on Monday. The event raises scholarship money for women at Zane State College. Each year they usually raise enough to award 6 scholarships. LPGA player and Zanesville native, Michele Redman, returned to the area for a good cause.
