The 17th Annual Tractor Show began on Monday at Colony Square Mall. The Old Steam and Gas Club of Dresden has over 40 old fashioned tractors on display along with antique toy tractors and farming tools.

The Muskingum County OSU Extension Agency presented its 2010 update to the Muskingum County Commissioners today.

The research and education based program relies heavily on appropriations from the county which in turn effects how much state and federal funding it receives. The agency received 242,000 dollars from the county which turned in to an additional 115,000 dollars from the state and federal government. We may not always think about where the food on our plates is coming from. That's why a special day at the fairgrounds is working to do just that.

As you head to the polls next Tuesday, do you fully understand the issues you will be voting on?

Television commercials are flooding Ohio's airwaves telling people to vote yes or vote no for Ohio Issue 2.

If enacted, Ohio Issue 2 will create a 13 person livestock care standards board. Members would consist of family farmers, veterinarians, a local animal shelter person, and food experts.
