Looking out for your pets' health during the summer heat is just as important as looking out for your own.
Animal Shelter executive director, Jody Murray, said the recent heat wave can be dangerous for your pets. He advises people to pay attention to their animals when they are spending extended time outside.

Starting Monday, December 1 you can get your dog registered in Muskingum County.
It is required under the Ohio Revised Code to have your dog registered with your county. Deputy Auditor, Katie Settles, said it's that time of year to get your new dog tags. You have from now until January 31 to purchase the tags without a late fee.
To help promote the sale of the tags this year the animal shelter is cutting the adoption fee of a 2-month old puppy in half.
