This is the last time, this century, when the month, the day, and the year will line up on the calendar as single digit numbers, and Mother Tucker's employee, Audrey Davis, says some people are taking advantage of these lucky numbers.

It's something no tax payer wants to see in the mail -- a notice they're being audited.

But, Eric Erickson of the Internal Revenue Service says being audited isn't always a bad thing.

The Salvation Army is collecting applications for its Coats for Kids Program through October 2nd, and Office Assistant, Mindy McCloy, says there's been a stream of people filling out applications so far.

The 18-year-old accused of shooting a Zanesville Police Officer and seriously injuring his K-9 partner appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

Dominick Conley pled not-guilty today to 12 felony counts including: assault on a peace officer, assault on a police dog, aggravated burglary, two counts of kidnapping and six counts of abduction. All of those counts come with gun specifications. He's also charged with tampering with evidence.

A group of law enforcement agencies has formed a task force to solve several arson fires around the area they believe are connected.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, Dresden Fire Department and Zanesville Fire Department are asking the pubic for help in solving open arson investigations in the Dresden area over the past year.

There is a new effort being started to figure out why several fires have happened in the village of Dresden this year.

Today Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz also announced that a five-thousand dollar reward will be offered for information that leads to a conviction in the case that could be the work of an arsonist.

The Sheriff says he has formed a Task Force with the Zanesville Fire Department and the Dresden Police Department in hopes of solving the issue.

An area man suffers minor injuries after an early morning accident.

The State Highway Patrol says just after 5am Wednesday morning 58-year-old Thomas Ollom was traveling north on State Route 93 near Ostego Road when he went off the right side, over corrected, went off the left side of the road, hitting a utility pole, flipping the truck onto its side.

Some telephone lines fell because of the accident.
