The Zanesville Applachian Arts Project is featuring Susan Stubbins, a retired art educator in the Zanesville City School district who has continued her passion for the arts in her own studio in downtown Zanesville.

"I do mostly collage, mixed media artwork. I work with acrylics, watercolor and papers. A lot of them are handmade or hand decorated by myself," said Stubbins.

A Columbus artist is displaying her nature-inspired sculptures at The Zanesville Museum of Art. The special exhibition called Seeking Harmony with Nature displays both small and large clay sculptures of animals and plants.

"A lot of the inspiration comes from my concern about endangered species and about loss of habitat. And just trying to make some statements regarding those things. And how special and precious animals are," said sculpture artist, Denise Romecki.

Z.A.A.P. is featuring Carron Baxter in the front window at their 625 Main Street location. Baxter has six acrylics on display that are all for sale. She has also been featured at the Zanesville Museum of Art , The Ohio State Fair, and at Muskingum University for her artwork. Z.A.A.P. is also having a silent auction starting tomorrow.

The plain white walls of Zanesville City Hall are bursting with color thanks to a new art exhibit.

Owner of Gallery G Bob Grayson said Mayor Jeff Tilton asked him to organize a display that showcases the work of emerging artists.  Grayson said he's collaborating with area schools to fill city hall with the art of elementary school kids through college students.

About 200 artists and musicians are getting ready to showcase their talents in front of a big crowd.

The third annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival is a growing tradition in Muskingum County.  Zanesville Downtown Association Manager Dana Matz said the committee reached out to the Franklin and Athens counties to create a buzz.

A new art exhibit hits the John McIntire Library.

Artists in the Southeastern Ohio Water Media Society displayed their newest pieces. In the past, the shows theme was a color but, this year they wanted a chance to dig deeper with something more outside the box and less mainstream.

The Muskingum County Fair may have wrapped up, but the Z.A.A.P. art gallery in downtown Zanesville is reminiscing their favorite fair moments.

For downtown Zanesville, it's a chance for the community to enjoy local artwork, music, and food.

Perry County is highlighting some of its local artists.

40 vendors took part in the first Perry County Art Walk. There was something for everyone to enjoy, including photography, music, and artwork.
