The Thornville Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery at the Thornville Pharmacy and the suspect was wearing a superman mask. Chief Darrell Ball says it happened at 8:45 Tuesday morning. He says an individual entered the pharmacy, walked up to the counter and handed a note to the pharmacist asking for prescription medication. A gun was also shown at the scene.  Zanesville Police investigate an attempted robbery of the Speedway Gas station on Blue Avenue. 

Captain Doug Merry said that the incident took place around 1:20 a.m. when a male subject walked into the gas station with a knife and a black t-shirt wrapped around his face. 

The man demanded the clerk open the register. Captain Merry said when the clerk made no attempt to do so, the man left the building moving toward McIntire Avenue.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted robbery. At around 5:30 Tuesday, the Sheriff's Office received a call of a robbery at the Circle K located at 502 S 7th St. Coshocton.

A white male entered the store and demanded all the money from the cash register. The subject then fled the store without receiving any cash.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two women are in custody in connection with an attempt to rob the BP Gas Station in Duncan Falls Monday at around 8 p.m.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff's reports a vehicle matching the description of the suspect was stopped by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office on State Route 669 just before 11p.m. Monday night.

Two woman were taken into custody.

The Zanesville Police continue to investigate an early morning robbery in Zanesville.

Detective Sergeant Ric Roush said that just before 6a.m. Wednesday morning a male subject walked into the Starfire Gas Station at 727 Pershing Road and demanded cash from the male clerk on duty.

Roush said the robber assaulted the clerk by striking him in the face, then fled on foot.

Detective Roush said they do have a suspect in custody and he's currently being held in the Zanesville City...
