State Senator Balderson announced Monday that a 500-thousand dollar grant is headed to Muskingum County. It will be used for upgrades to Six County Incorporated in Zanesville. It was a good day for State Senator Troy Balderson and State Representative Brian Hill.  Both were winners in Tuesday's General Election. Balderson was appointed to his seat in the 20th district last year to replace Jimmy Stewart.  Hill was appointed to his seat to replace Balderson.  Other winners are republican Pat Tiberi over Jim Reese.  U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown beat Josh Mandel.

State Representative Troy Balderson of the 94th District  has been named to a new legislative committee.

Balderson(R-Zanesville)  was appointed to the House Public Utilities Committee for the remainder of the 128th General Assembly.

It was an early and wet morning for many people in the community. 

Muskingum County residents of all ages were stretching and getting ready for the Bishop Fenwick Fun Run that kicked off around 8:30 this morning. The fun run hopes to raise around $10,000.
