Zanesville shortstop Legacy Lewis has enjoyed a tremendous career with the Lady Devils. On Tuesday, all of her hard work paid off as Lewis signed a Letter of Intent to play softball at the University of Northwestern Ohio.

The Badges for Baseball program is funded by a grant from the Cal Ripken Senior Foundation and by the Ohio Attorney General's Office that lets kids ages 10 to 14 team up with law enforcement officers to teach them critical life lessons..  and it's coming to Zanesville for the summer.

A local man gets a baseball park named his honor for his hard work in the community.

Lee Eppley is 74 years young. He is the President of the midget league and has worked for the Y-City Park for over 40 years.

Patrick Bollinger, President of the Muskingum Valley Oldtimers Association is proud to announce that the Ohio Valley Regional Baseball Tournament will be coming to Zanesville this July.  Bollinger says the tournament is a stepping stone for teens ages 13-15 who want to advance their baseball careers, and often go on to play in college and for the Major Leagues.

Local Babe Ruth Baseball teams and the Muskingum Valley Old Timers Association are making history while celebrating 50 years of baseball.

This weekend the 13 year old Americans and 14 year old Nationals will represent Ohio at the Regional Tournaments in Illinois.  Zanesville Babe Ruth Manager Rick Perone said this is the first time that a local 13 year old team has won its state championship.
