Head Coach Mike Hayes says Saturday's game was a tough win, but...

Make no mistake, Kevin Martin will never forget his roots. The Zanesville native is set to begin his eighth season in the NBA, plenty of time to cut and run from this city if he chose to do so. Instead, Kevin choosing the path of gratitude: thankful for what this city has provided for him when he could not provide for himself. Obviously, that has all changed now, with just one example of Kevin's commitment to Zanesville on display this week.

The fourth annual Kevin Martin youth camp...

We are coming up on the three year anniversary of the passing of Dick Haines, and his memorial basketball camp wrapped up with a bang. Though the numbers were down the organizers were happy with the turn out, and the way the instruction was done.

The camp was competing with two other big name camps this week and had a camper make the trip all the way from North Carolina to participate. The camp lasted three days and was organized by Haines' daughters who also were in charge of the...

Often times in sports and in life, a special person can make memories with you that will last a lifetime. In August 2008, 2007 Sheridan graduate Megan Custer passed away following injuries sustained from a car accident. On Saturday afternoon at Sheridan High School, her memory lived on at one of her favorite places, the basketball court.

Fittingly on June 23rd, #23 was honored in the third annual Megan Custer 3-on-3 basketball tournament. 45 teams featuring boys and girls as well as...
