McMillan Tire service is celebrating 40 years of business.

The smell of barbecue, drinks and fellowship flowed through the air on Beverly Avenue from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon as several hundred people showed up to celebrate with the company.

 The Washington Township Fire Department held their Mother's Day Chicken BBQ fundraiser Sunday morning.

Members of the department arrived around 1AM to fire up pit and prepare for a large turn out. Around 1,200 meals were served.

The 4th Annual Champions of Fatherhood Golf Classic was held at the Jaycee's Golf Course Friday afternoon. Over 100 golfers came out to raise money for a good cause.

They're hosting their 50th Annual Father's Day barbecue this Sunday and they're hoping you bring your family to celebrate the holiday with them.

The South Zanesville Fire Department is hoping to have a big crowd on Sunday because they need to raise about $20,000 by next January for a new high-band system that is required by the county.

Taking mom out for Mother's Day this Sunday is as close as your local firehouse.
