The 8th annual earth to art event took root today at the John Mcintire Library.

Master Gardeners hosted the event in front of the library under tents filled with flowers, art and auction items. The day featured live music and a children's workshop where kids could learn about taking care of the Earth with crafts and fun.

Master Gardener Beth Brown said they enjoy the event and it's all about giving back to the academic community.

Two local organizations are working together to bring beauty to our area through a combined art project.

The Muskingum Valley Garden Society's Spring Garden Symposium is coming up on March 1 at the Zane State -OUZ campus. Each year the group has rain barrels up for auction. This year they decided to work with ten artists from the Artist's Colony to decorate the barrels.

For gardeners it's never too early to start thinking about this year's plantings.

The 11th Annual Spring Fever Garden Symposium is a chance to forget about the dreary winter weather and turn thoughts to sunshine.

A local organization is working to beautify Muskingum County one project at a time.

The Muskingum Valley Garden Society woke up early Saturday morning and came out to Starlight Academy to improve its landscape. Timber Run gardens donated all of the plants for the building, while the group's members put them into the ground.

A local group is using its green thumb to bring beauty to Zanesville
