Students from a local high school are paying it forward.

This is the 23rd year for Christmas on the Hill at Bishop Rosecrans High School. Students at Rosecrans decided to think less of themselves and more about the less fortunate.

One local high school is in the holiday spirit as their building fills with hundreds of shoppers.

Bishop Rosecrans high school hosted their annual holiday bazaar this morning. This event began at 9 a.m and had over 100 vendors from five different states including Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida and West Virginia.  The 27 senior Bishops celebrated their four year long journey today.

It's graduation day at Bishop Rosecrans. Graduates walked across the stage at Secrest Auditorium. Graduate Matthew Beebe said that this class was a special one and that he's happy to be a part of it.

"We're a close knit group and it's really hard to leave them but..[I'm] happy. It's over I guess," said Beebe.

January 22nd marks the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision and three local Catholic Schools are making a trip to Washington D.C to take part in the annual March for Life.

Bishop Rosecrans has been using the facilities at Zanesville High School for home football games, but that will change in a couple of years.

Seniors at Bishop Rosecrans High School became graduates Saturday afternoon.

The 64th annual commencement was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville.  Thirty-five students received their diplomas in this year's class.  Principal Jennifer Mallett said graduation is always filled with mixed emotions, but that has never been more true for her than this year.

Rosecrans football is never the fastest or strongest team around, but somehow the Bishops always find a way to win. Last season, they won the ECOL Gray and made it to the postseason once again.

This season, first year head coach Jay Campbell has just 15 players on his roster, but he still has a confident outlook. The Bishops will have extra motivation this season, as they will play their first home game behind Rosecrans High School for the first time. They start their regular season...

Jeffrey McKnight, a senior at Bishop Rosecrans says his plans after graduation are attending the United States Air Force Academy to major in either political science or military strategies and says he wants to become a pilot after he graduates from the academy.
