Muskingum County residents met at the Duncan Falls Philo Library to learn more about the 24- inch Blue Grass Pipeline making its way through the state.

Attorney's Bill Goldman and Michael Braunstein will be talking with property owners this Saturday, Jan.25 about the 24 inch pipeline that's making its way through the state.

"It's important that property owners understand their rights. Understand what the appropriate compensation should be," Goldman explained. "In these situations they deserve money, fair market value for the land that's part of the easement, and then, money for any damages or decrease in value."...

A new pipeline could soon make its way through some counties in our area.

The Williams Group approved Tuesday the company's Bluegrass Pipeline Project. The proposed route for the project, found on the company's website, will snake the pipeline through Perry, the southern half of Muskingum, Guernsey and Noble Counties.

The pipeline will connect supply from the Marcellus and Utica Shale gas areas to growing petrochemical and export markets in the US Gulf Coast areas of Louisiana...
