The Mayor of Zanesville said he likes what he's doing and wants four more years of it.

The filing deadline for elected officials who plan to be on the ballot for the May 5th primary election is rapidly approaching.

Director of Muskingum County Board of Elections, Chris Hamill says the filing deadline is February 4th, at 4:00 p.m.

The official count for the Muskingum County General Election has been completed.

Board of Elections Director Chris Hamill says there were no changes in the results. The percentage of registered voters who participated in this years vote was just under 40% Hamill predicted 41%. There will not be a special election in February, so the next time voters hit the polls will be on May 5th for the primary.

The May Primary is Tuesday and some registered voters will be heading to the polls.In Muskingum County it's being called a special election featuring just three issues.
