The Village of Crooksville has issued a boil advisory for Main St. Customers are advised to boil all drinking water until further notice.

A major water main break in southern Perry County has forced officials to issue a boil advisory.

The advisory includes all customers in the area of Oakfield including Portie Flamingo Road, Township Roads 312 and 425, State Routes 13, 37, and 93 as well as 6 Mile Turn.

All customers are advised to boil all drinking water until further notice.

The Muskingum County Water Department says the boil advisory issued on Wednesday has been lifted.

The following areas were affected:

  • 3325-3830 Wayne Ridge Road
  • Hemmers Lane
  • Green Hills Circle
  • Breezewood

The following areas were affected:

The Muskingum County Water Department has lifted the boil advisory for some of its customers.

The areas affected included those living at 8180 S. River Road going south to Gaysport and all side roads.

The New Concord Water Department has lifted the boil advisory in the North Friendship Drive area.

Officials had issued the alert on Tuesday due to a water main break.

Tests have confirmed the water is safe and residents may resume normal use.

The village of New Concord is under a boil advisory due to a water main break. Officials says water customers on North Friendship Drive north of John Glen School Road, Jay Layman Drive, Cedar Circle and Ridgeview Drive are advised to boil all drinking water until further notice. Water Service is expected to be restored today and the boil advisory will remain in effect until at least Thursday afternoon. Due to a water main break, a boil advisory has been issued for the Crooksville School System. An official from the water plant says it should be lifted within the next few days.

The Maysville Regional Water District has lifted the boil advisory issued for the following areas:

Jenkins Drive, Lakewood Drive, Thorn Drive, upper Broadvue Circle, Zella Drive, Foxfire Drive, and Mailibu Lane.

A boil alert affecting customers customers of the Morgan-Meigsville water district has been lifted.

The district had issued the alert for the McConnelsville area on Tuesday due to construction work taking place in the village.
