A boil alert affecting customers customers of the Morgan-Meigsville water district has been lifted.

The district had issued the alert for the McConnelsville area on Tuesday due to construction work taking place in the village.

Construction work in McConnelsville is causing the Morgan-Maysville water district to issue a boil advisory.

The alert goes into effect at 1p.m. Tuesday afternoon and will be in place until further notice.

The South Zanesville boil alert is causing some problems for Village businesses.

WHIZ talked to the South Zanesville Subway to see how the water problem is affecting business. Besides not being able to sell fountain drinks or soup, washing hands also becomes an issue.

The boil advisory for customers affected by a water main break on Monday has been canceled.

The area affected included North Friendship Drive north of John Glenn Road, Jay Layman Drive, Cedar Circle and Ridgeview Drive.

A water main break that forced schools in the East Muskingum School District to close early Monday has also resulted in a boil advisory.
 

Officials at the New Concord Water Department say the following areas are affected:

  • North Friendship Drive north of John Glenn School Road

The Muskingum County Water Department has lifted a boil advisory  for residents in the Dale Road area.

The advisory had been issued on Tuesday following a water main break.

The areas affected included: Dale Road, West End of Grove Road and East Military Road.

The Muskingum County Water Department has lifted the boil advisory for anyone without water in the West Pike area.

The boil advisory was issued on Monday, August 9th.

The Muskingum County Water Department has issued a boil advisory for residents on the West Pike.

The department said, Tuesday, if  you live on the West Pike and were without water Monday you are under the boil advisory.
