Maysville senior Kaleigh Bennett signed an official letter of intent this morning to bowl collegiately at Wright State.  

Bennett has had a stellar bowling career,  including a top 20 finish in this year's state tournament.  Bennett was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio this season after posting a score of 587 points in a 3-game series.

The kickoff event will be taking place February 22nd at the Barn Restaurant and Sports Bar from 6pm to 7pm. People will meet up to organize bowling teams and discuss ways to raise money for the bowling event this April.

The Zanesville Women's Bowling Association is hosting its fourth annual event called Helping Hands.

This event took place at Sunrise Strikes early Friday. The purpose is to allow families selected by the Salvation Army and other community organizations to bowl for free. Each family will also receive baskets filled with thoughtful non-perishable gifts.

In honor of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake Fundraiser coming up, the staff at WHIZ got involved in their own bowling tournament.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for volunteers to help raise money - by bowling.

Local residents went bowling Sunday to help strike out Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
