 The 'Amvets' and Boy Scout Troop 158 joined together to honor veterans this Memorial Day weekend.

The Wildcats joined the Amvets in placing flags on the graves of all veterans in the Greenwood Cemetery. Boy Scout David Johnson said that he discovered veterans who defended our country in many battles.

Thirteen boy scout packs from the Muskingum Valley Council came together on Wednesday as a part of the annual Zane Trace Boy Scout Camp taking place this week.

They were taking part in a variety of fun yet educational games . This year's theme was " Knight's at the Round Table" and many of the activities were inspired by the time period.

Cub Scout Pack 121 from Dresden had their annual Pinewood Derby race at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Sunday afternoon. Each Cub Scout was given a car kit with a wooden block, wheels, and nails to create their derby car.

The 'Send Your Boss to Camp' fundraiser starts Friday outside of the Boy Scouts on McIntire Avenue. It's a new fundraiser for the Muskingum Valley Boys Scouts and they plan on using the money to help off-set the cost of camp.

Over 1200 scouts, parents and volunteers had a blast at Scoutfest, an event that took almost 18-months to plan.

It was a winter wonderland for campers at McGraw Edison Recreation Area.

Boy Scout Troop 128 spent the weekend bundled up in tents.  Scoutmaster Kevin Pinson said they camp at a different park every month, regardless of the temperature outside.

Some area Boy Scouts will be getting a lesson in fundraising this weekend.

The Pepsi Corporation is donating trailers for Boy Scouts to raise money to go to various local camps this summer.

Ed Mulholland is the Executive Director of the Muskingum County Boy Scouts said the scouts will be braving the heat to hand out food for donations.
