Keagan McLaughlin from Bishop Rosecrans earned first team honors in division III boys soccer. In division II Austin Blatt from John Glenn earned second team honors.

 The Rosecrans boys beat Grandview Heights, 5-1, to punch a ticket to the state tournament. The Lady Bishops also played the Grandview Heights, but lost, 3-0.

 The Sheridan Generals dominated in both the boys and girls MVL cross country tournamant Saturday.

Boys Soccer

Tri-Valley 11 - Philo 0

Tri-Valley clinched the MVL championship with an 11-0 win over Philo Thursday night.  The Scotties were led by two hat tricks, one from junior Chase Alfman, the other from classmate Andrew McGee.  Cody Smith also added two goals in the win.

Ryan Hetrick finished with three assists for the Scotties (11-1, 9-0).

Fisher Catholic 0 - Rosecrans 2

(ZANESVILLE) -- Fisher Catholic came in with some prolific scoring displays this season, but left Riverside Park with nothing except their second loss of the season. Thomas Boggs starting the scoring, converting a penalty kick in the first half, with Logan Lazar following that up with a goal of his own in the first half. Rosecrans remains undefeated on the season.
