If you're a basketball fan in this community, you have been looking forward to this Friday night for some time. Zanesville will travel to Rogge Gymnasium to take on the Bishops in an ECOL contest. Tickets to the game will be difficult to come by; here's the information if you want to be in attendance at Rogge, which seats approximately 1,100 people:

The Muskies have had two iconic shots so far in the Division II State Tournament, both coming from senior sensation Jake Heagen: a game winning three pointer to beat Carrollton, and a thunderous dunk to secure a win over Chillicothe. Now, on the eve of the regional final, Heagen and John Glenn are taking a shot at a place the Muskies have never been. Jeremy Rauch has more.

League basketball is all about excitment, rivalries, and traditon, tonight in the MVL that was pretty much every game that was played. Sheridan handed Maysville their second league loss on Jacob Horsley's game winning shot, while in Crooksville Caleb Jago and the Cermaics were able to edge out Morgan. The games around the league tonight proves that the MVL race is still wide open.
