Zanesville Police have identified a suspect from a break in at the Putnam Beer Dock last week.

 Detective Ric Roush says 36-year-old Jason Dooley of Zanesville is facing one count each of breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools and theft.

Roush says around 3:30 Thursday morning Dooley is accused of busting out the window of the beer dock, and taking an undisclosed amount of beer and cigarettes.

The case will be presented to a Muskingum County Grand Jury...

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a business break-in.
 

Newark police report that on November 26th during the overnight hours someone broke into Wright Brothers Power on West Church Street in Newark and stole eight chainsaws.

A Zanesville man arrested last month in an attempted break-in appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

38-year-old Isaac Washington III entered a not guilty plea to a second degree felony charge of burglary and a fifth degree felony charge of theft in front of Judge Kelly Cotrill.
 

The charges stem from an incident on June 17th where police found a window had been broken out of the Disabled American Veterans Building on Moxahala Avenue.

Two people have been arrested in connection to a break in at a church in Newark.
 

According to the Licking County Sheriff's Office , 24-year-old Melissa Barton and 54-year-old Richard Hunt of Newark are in custody after admitting to breaking into the Marne United Methodist Church on Licking Valley Road on May 7th.
 

Authorities say the two also admitted to stealing a safe from the church that contained credit cards.
