Hockey's offseason may only last a few months, but for passionate fans, those months can seem like an eternity. Fortunately, the wait is almost over.

Members of the Noon Rotary Club of Zanesville got to learn about food while eating food at their weekly meeting at Bryan Place Tuesday.

Sally Ellis, a board member at Pearl Valley Cheese, addressed the group and talked a little bit about her family's business.

On Tuesday, the club transitioned their new president, Mollie Crooks in at Bryan Place during their weekly meeting. Outgoing president, John Parker, discussed some of his accomplishments over the past year.

"We began our work on the Rotary Legacy Park project which is going to be on the strip of the canal between the 6th Street Bridge and the Y-Bridge. We've began fundraising for that internally so we've got a lot of things accomplished there already but we've got a lot more to do...

Planning on celebrating St. Patrick's Day this weekend?

Bryan Place and Big Brother's Big Sister's have teamed up to give adults a place to sport their green attire. "Bringin' in the Green" Casino Night will take place Saturday.

One local organization is celebrating Fat Tuesday in August.

It was the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville's yearly banquet to honor its volunteers and donors at Bryan Place.

The banquet had a Mardi Gras theme to it, which Executive Director Mollie Crooks said represents the mission of the organization.
