Hundreds will come out to support, honor and respect our fallen heroes this weekend.

The Ohio Flags of Honor program will make its annual stop in Zanesville to remember those who have lost their lives overseas, fighting for our country. Four local veterans were inducted into the Muskingum County Veteran's Hall of Fame on Sunday.

The community, performers, veterans and state officials came out to Secrest Auditorium to congratulate John William "Buzz" Benson, Robert Forker, Russell Kuhn and Walter Offinger on their recent accomplishment. The men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our country will be honored at a special parade.

The annual Muskingum County Veteran's Day Parade will take place this Saturday at 10 a.m. The event will start at Secrest Auditorium and has more than 115 participants, President of the Muskingum County Veteran's Council and Vietnam Veteran , Bud Johnson says the public can expect a great event this year.

The Ohio Flags of Honor is coming back to Zanesville. It's a touring flag display to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country.

Zanesville's Veterans Day Parade is just under a month away.

Veterans Council President Bud Johnson says they are still accepting entry applications for the November 10th parade. There were 127 units in last years event, and Johnson says so far this year they have about half of that.
