The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a burglary at a Newark business.

The Newark Division of Police reports between September 8th and 10th, a suspect or suspects broke into Crawford Auto Body located at 59 W. Main Street and stole a number of items including a code reader, air drills and a gravity spray gun.

Zanesville Police have charged a man in connection with a burglary .
 

Police Chief Kenneth Miller says officers responded to 634 Fairmont Avenue around 5:00  p.m. Wednesday after a man reportedly broke into the house and tried to stab the homeowner.
 

Chief Miller says 27-year-old Jeffrey New was arrested in the incident.
 

New is facing felony charges of burglary and aggravated robbery and a misdemeanor charge of theft.

The Zanesville Police place one person under arrest in connection to an early morning break-in and burglary.

Captain Tony Coury said that around 4:30 Monday morning a resident in the 500 block of Schwallie Avenue reported a stolen lawn mower. The resident was able to give a description of the suspect and vehicle.

Officers found the vehicle still in the area at the intersection of Schwallie and Sunrise.

Recovered at the scene was the lawn mower and multiple tools.

A Zanesville Community High School Teacher faces a charge in connecting to a reported home burglary.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said 58-year-old Howard Twiggs is charged with a fourth degree felony county of burglary. The sheriff said the morning of January 3rd they received a complaint in reference to a burglary in the 200 block of Eagles Nest Road.

Neighbors are now on high-alert after a late night burglary.

According to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office logs it happened Tuesday night on Dale Road . A homeowner woke up to find a man wearing dark clothing and a mask stealing items from his home. He chased the suspect out of the house. Dispatch reports said the suspect was last seen running down the street.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a business break-in.

Between July 30th and August 1st, the Newark Police Department says someone broke into Dor Mar Heating and Cooling at 228 East Main Street.

Police say the thieves stole 20 air conditioning units. The suspect's vehicle is described as a 1984 Ford van.
