The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a burglary in Newark.

Newark Police report that on September 5th someone broke into a home in the 1500 block of W. Main Street while the residents were in bed and stole a wallet, cash, and credit cards.

Police say the residents were awakened by noises and one saw a man running through the backyard area.

The suspect is believed to have fled in a car.

Newark Police reports that on August 1st someone broke into an attached garage of a home in the 700 block of Plymouth Place and stole an air compressor.

Another Zanesville man appears in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court on a felony, burglary count. 49-year-old Charles Hamilton pled not guilty and his bond was continued at $100,000.

The Zanesville Police Departmet arrested Hamilton on June 24th after officers say he went through several parked cars in the downtown area and took a lawn mower.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is looking for answers to help solve a Newark burglary, and it's offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information.

The incident happened between June 24th and June 27th in the 300 block of Newton Avenue. The police department says someone entered the apartment and took a shotgun, handgun, and cash.

A man authorities say burglarized multiple Zanesville businesses pled not-guilty Monday.

40-year-old Robert Johnson Jr. pled not-guilty to four fifth-degree-felony charges of breaking and entering, two charges of theft less than $500, and two charges of theft between $500 and $5,000 in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

The Athens Police Department is issuing a warrant for the arrest of an Ohio University football player, who was allegedly involved in a weekend burglary and stabbing.

Officers were dispatched to the scene of the apparent burglary Sunday morning at 159 Mill Street. The victim's statement explained that an unknown man was standing in his bedroom late Saturday night. The victim shouted something to the suspect and startled him, causing the man to break through the home's glass door.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a Newark burglary, and it's offering a one thousand dollar reward for anyone with information.

The incident happened on April 19th. The Newark Police Department reports a burglary in the 800 block of Idlewilde Avenue, where a gun safe was taken. That safe included six rifles and a shot gun.

The Zanesville Police are investigating a Thursday morning burglary at the Riverside Cruise-In Drive Thru on Hall Avenue.

Lt. Bill Shaw said that around 2:30 two suspects left their bikes behind when the alarm began to sound. They got away with various small items and officers continue to investigate.
