Licking County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a Newark burglary, and it's offering a one thousand dollar reward for anyone with information.

The incident happened on April 19th. The Newark Police Department reports a burglary in the 800 block of Idlewilde Avenue, where a gun safe was taken. That safe included six rifles and a shot gun.

The Zanesville Police are investigating a Thursday morning burglary at the Riverside Cruise-In Drive Thru on Hall Avenue.

Lt. Bill Shaw said that around 2:30 two suspects left their bikes behind when the alarm began to sound. They got away with various small items and officers continue to investigate.

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office is charging an 18-year-old man who one count of burglary. If convicted, Brandon White could face up to eight years in prison and a 15 thousand dollar fine.

Fairfield County Sheriff's detectives continue to investigate a burglary in Bloom Township.

Sheriff Dave Phalen says a man entered a home on Winchester Road while the homeowner was in the basement. The intruder proceeded to gather a few guns and a flat screen TV and placed them near the front door. Phalen says at this time, the homeowner heard noises from upstairs and confronted the man. He says the two got into a physical dispute before the intruder left in his car.

About 30 individuals have been taken into custody from Perry, Fairfield, and Hocking counties, during what the US Marshall's Service is calling "Operation Rolling Thunder," and they face an array of drug and burglary charges.

Two men are facing burglary charges after being taken into custody Monday morning. Fairfield County Sheriff, Dave Phalen, says 19-year-old Jamel Wood and 19-year-old Isaiah Moore may also be connected with other burglaries in the area.

Police report on the morning of September 14, someone broke into a home in the 1500 block of Quail Drive West and stole a variety of items including cash, computer software, jewelry and Heisey glass items.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information in a burglary at a Newark home.

According to Newark Police, someone entered a home in the 200 block of Boyleston Avenue on July 24 and stole cash and guns including two Smith and Wesson .357's, a Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum, and a Smith and Wesson 9mm gun.

The Zanesville Police Department says a man was caught red-handed after burglarizing an area business.

According to Lt. Bill Shaw, around 1:30 Monday morning police received a call of a man in a pick-up truck dragging a large wooden crate behind the vehicle down Underwood Street.

Zanesville Police are investigating a home invasion burglary that occurred early Monday morning. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says that shortly after 3:00am in the 800 block of Orchard Street, two males forced their way into the apartment where a man and woman were residing, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The suspects demanded money from the couple then fled on foot. No one was injured.
