The Trout Club is closed for renovations following a fire this weekend.

The call came in just before 6 a.m Saturday morning. Newark Fire Captain Doug Vermaaten said the blaze began in the garage and spread to the lounge. It only took about 20 minutes to contain.

Two companies from Licking and Knox Counties may soon see loans that will essentially boost business. The Development Financing Advisory Council is recommending about $10 million in loans for six statewide projects, and these funds are waiting for approval from the State Controlling Board.

One Southeastern Ohio county is getting a chunk of a $220,000 Microenterprise Business Development Program grant.

Morgan County will receive a total of $60,000. The Ohio Department of Development says that money will be used to help a local business, and 40 individuals will get both training and technical assistance. A local business is celebrating 110 years while giving back to the community.

The Anchor Glass Mould Shop in Zanesville gave community members the opportunity to see what they do.

A new business in Zanesville is officially open.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held this morning at Dreamer's Motorsports, just off Maple Avenue. It's something that co-owners Kenny Atkins, Jennifer Agin, and Agin's husband say has been a long-time coming.
