Organizers are calling the 27th annual Carr center cake auction a huge success.
The two day event last week at the Colony Square Mall in Zanesville raised more than 130,000 dollars for the Carr Center.

Golfers are teeing off to support local youth programs.
It might look like a typical day at Longaberger Golf Club, but proceeds from Monday's tournament will benefit the Carr Center. Executive Director John Hajjar said the speech therapy, safety town and special riders programs will receive assistance.
"It's just nice to see that money is being raised to help us to keep giving these programs so the kids can have something," said Hajjar.
