The new Center for Seniors building sits nestled in downtown Zanesville on the corner of Shinnick and 4th Street but renovations have not yet begun.

After renovations are completed the Center for Seniors will have a new home in downtown Zanesville.

Muskingum County Officials announced Tuesday that they purchased the Zanesville City Schools Administration Building on fourth street for $475,000. Commissioner Jim Porter hopes to hire local contractors for the project. 11-year-old Arrested for Bomb Threat

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) - According to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office an 11-year-old boy was arrested and charges are pending after he made a bomb threat Tuesday. Sheriff Matt Lutz said the student in this case will probably be charged as a minor, but could face felony charges of inducing panic.

The Executive Director of the Muskingum County Center for Seniors in Muskingum County sets a tentative reopen date for the center.

The Muskingum County Center for Seniors remains closed Thursday after a serious roof problem.

It closed last week after the roof began leaking, and the search continues for a temporary home for the center. Muskingum County Commissioner, Jim Porter, says it's still an ongoing process.
