Two Licking County men are charged with aggravated menacing and obstructing official business after an incident Wednesday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office says it attempted to serve 36-year-old Jason Lee of Newark with civil papers, concerning his residence. Deputies say Lee refused the papers and went inside the home. A Zanesville man is charged in connection with the robbery of a gas station on the West Pike.

24-year-old Hunter McNerney faces one count of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification and one count of theft.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says the suspect allegedly went into the Exxon Gas Station with a mask and an assault-style riffle around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A 24-year-old Zanesville man involved in Tuesday's high speed chase is charged.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol met with the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office for a grand jury conference. Zanesville Post Commander, Lieutenant Steven Rine, says Harold Small Junior will face a felony count of failure to comply, one count of no motorcycle endorsement, and one count of driving under an FRA suspension. A Newark police officer is charged with disorderly conduct.

Police Chief Steven Sarver says Bobby Hartless' 17-year-old daughter claimed he hit and kicked her on August 4th. After filing a report with the police department, hartless was arrested for domestic violence. Sarver says the city's law director chose not to pursue the case and the charge was dropped, But it did move on to a special prosecutor, who sarver says did decide to file a disorderly conduct charge Thursday.

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office is charging an 18-year-old man who one count of burglary. If convicted, Brandon White could face up to eight years in prison and a 15 thousand dollar fine.
