Two local dentists are giving back to the community through their work.

Dr. Furhiman and Dr. Williams on Brandywine Boulevard are offering a cleaning package or tooth extraction for twenty-five dollars on December 7th. The open clinic day was created to help those around Zanesville.

Volunteers took time away from their families to help feed the less fortunate.

Christ's Table served their traditional Thanksgiving meal today. In addition to the 200 meals expected to be served, more than 150 were delivered to the homebound. Although the day is very busy for those involved, volunteers see it as a blessing.

A check presented to Christ's Table in Zanesville could provide up to a month of meals for those in need.

More than $2000 was donated to the non-profit organization by Forest View in Zanesville. Employees donated money and vacation time to help raise the funds.

Despite the tough growing season, farmers and producers are still finding ways to donate their produce.

The Zanesville Noon Rotary Club is giving back to needy people the community.

The club purchased a hog from the Muskingum County Fair, had it processed and then donated the meat to Christ's Table.

Local students will be prepared for school this year thanks to a Marysville church.

Volunteers from New California Presbyterian Church came to Christ's Table in Zanesville Tuesday to host a back to school giveaway for families. The church comes to Zanesville every year to give students supplies for their upcoming school year.

The Kellogg corporation in Zanesville is hosting a 5K race in the name of charity.

The annual Kellogg K-5K race and mile walk steps off this Saturday at 8 a.m. with all of the proceeds going to benefit Christ's Table.

The "Feed the Children" campaign had a successful turnout in downtown Zanesville Friday.

Avon's Distribution Center along with Christ's Table handed out boxes of food, household items and Avon products to families at Secrest Auditorium. Executive Director of Christ's Table Keely Warden coordinated the event.

One local organization sees a rise in those needing a warm meal during the first quarter of this year.

Christ's Table said they have seen a twenty-eight percent increase in those coming in to eat from the same time last year. In 20-12 over 26,000 meals were served, while in 2011 it was just over 20,000.
