It's down to the wire with Christmas being only two days away, and a lot of folks are rushing to the store to pick up last minute gifts.

The Colony Square mall in Zanesville opened Wednesday at 8 a.m, and shoppers didn't waste any time getting in to locate all of the final items on their to get list. We got the thoughts of some shoppers, and found that most of them were there for the same purpose.

It's officially Christmas week with only 5 days away and people are still finishing up their shopping list.

Colony Square mall was filled with last minute shoppers Sunday. We spoke to a couple customers and they said it wasn't their plan to shop at the last minute.

The force is bringing all Jedis together Thursday for the premier of the new Star Wars film, The force awakens.

The 29th Annual Carr Center Cake Auction is only a day away and preparations are well underway.

Over 350 beautiful cake creations were delivered and put into their proper places Wednesday morning. We spoke to Kim Hosler, Executive Director of the Carr Center who told us a little bit more about where the cakes come from.

Christmas is just four days away which means some people are kicking into high gear to get their last minute shopping done.

As the holiday shopping season wraps up people are flocking to Colony Square Mall.

"Uh, it's pretty crowded, it's pretty crowded. I worked retail for about ten years, so you'd think i wouldn't want to be out here, but it brings me back every year," said holiday shopper, Evette Myers.

Pyrotechnika is set to host a "Luminaria" show at the Colony Square Mall.
