State Route 643 in Coshocton County will be getting some work done tomorrow.

It's expected to be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at mile marker 3.99 between Township Road 212 and Township Road 189.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says crews will be replacing a culvert.

Licking County drivers need to be aware of two upcoming closures at the Buena Vista ramps in Newark.

ODOT says they are designed to increase safety during the State Route 16/State Route 79 Improvement Project.

The westbound ramp will close tomorrow while the eastbound ramp will wait to close next Monday, April 12th.

Crews are working on both pavement and bridge work.

The ramps are set to re-open in late September.

Some Licking County residents traveling in Newark are going to need a detour for as ODOT crews work on a project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Buena Vista Street will be closed from eight a.m. to three p.m. for about a week so that crews can work on the overhead bridge.

Alternate routes for drivers include: State Route 13, North Front Street, Cedar Street, or Oakwood Avenue.

The closure is part of the State Route 16/State Route 97 Improvement Project...

While the construction project on Wayne Avenue in Zanesville is causing some traffic headaches for drivers, it is on schedule.

The main water line is set to be installed by the end of this week.

"Then they have to pressure test that and chlorinate that to make sure the samples came back. Then they can start hooking the individual services up for the home, which is approximately 100 services we have to go through, " says Zanesville Public Service Director, Mike Sims....

The Zanesville City Schools are well on their way to completion.

At tonight's Zanesville City Schools School Board Meeting, the board was given an update on the construction of South Elementary, North Elementary and the new Zanesville High School.

The elementary schools windows are being installed and some preliminary furniture is set in place.

The Ohio Department of Transportation will begin work Monday on a project expected to last three months.

ODOT says that US 40 near Hopewell School will be restricted to one lane with temporary traffic signals while crews work to replace two bridge decks.

A width restriction of 12 feet is also in place. The funding for the project comes from the $774 million given to the state through the U.S. Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Starting Monday, motorists may see some traffic delays on Wayne Avenue in Zanesville.

City crews will begin new water line construction on portions of the road from the City Limits to Marrietta Street .

Traffic will be down to one lane throughout the winter and spring.

Motorists are encouraged to use Moxahala Avenue or Putnam Avenue as an alternate route during the construction of the project.
