Voters could decide on two issues in Coshocton County Tuesday. 

The Coshocton County Joint Vocational School District 1 mill for 5 years to be used for general improvement, commencing in 2015, passed.

 The Ohio Department of Transportation's traffic website is reporting some road closures in our area due to high water. 

According to OHGo.com State Route 669 in Morgan County is closed near McConnelsville.

There's also a road closure in Coshocton County on State Route 715. The roadway there is closed between County Road 20 and the Village of Walhonding.

A woman is dead following an accident Saturday evening in Coshocton County.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office says they received a 911 call just before 6:00 p.m. in reference to a one vehicle accident with injuries on County Road 5. The accident occurred near the intersection of SR 93 on County Road 5 in Lafayette Township.

COSHOCTON COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) - According to the FBI the search is over for three suspects with ties to a double murder in Coshocton County and a string of armed robberies in three eastern states. For the second year in a row Coshocton County leads the state for deer checked in during deer hunting seasons. This year the county checked in more than 7,500 deer during the state's 2014-2015 deer hunting seasons. 

Across the state officials said hunter checked in more than 175,000 deer. The archery season for deer hunting closed Sunday.

The Associated Press is reporting that a burned-out car belonging to a missing Strasburg couple has been found near Bakersville in Coshocton County.

The 1986 Pontiac was found on Adams Township Road Thursday, and according to NBC affiliate WKYC, the bodies of its owners, 88-year-old Doyle Chumney and his 79-year-old wife Lillian, were later discovered inside.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced plans for an OVI checkpoint in Coshocton County.

Three area counties rank in the top ten for spring wild turkey harvests.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says Ohio hunters checked in over 16,000 wild turkeys during the wild turkey hunting season and youth hunting season that ran from mid-April to May 19.

The numbers are down slightly from 2013 when over 18,000 turkey's were harvested.

The issue for Joint Vocational School District 1mills for General Improvement won by a close 11 votes.

The Jefferson Township issue for 1.5 mills to put toward road improvements won 122 to 79 votes.

The Coshocton Street Levy for 2.4 mills for construction to repait streets, roads and bridges won 58% to 42%.
