 An accident in Coshocton County sends one man to the hospital.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said just before 10:30 Monday night they received a call of an accident with injuries at the Coshocton Sportsman Club.

When officials arrived emergency crews found a 45-year-old man from Coshocton was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.

The driver was taken by Med Flight to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus....

A Coshocton man accused in the hit and run of a 9-year-old child last week faces charges.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said 40-year-old Kristopher S. McComb, a resident of Coshocton, was charged Tuesday with tampering with evidence. Additional charges are anticipated following review by the Coshocton County Prosecutor's Office. 

Authorities said on February 3, Steven Hebert II was struck by McComb's vehicle, who then fled the scene.

A shooting incident is under investigation in Coshocton County.

On Wednesday, the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched to the 600 block Vine Street in reference to a shooting.

Three male suspects and one female were taken into custody and are being held in connection to the incident.

No injures were reported.

The Coshocton County Prosecutor's Office is assisting in the investigation.

A fatal fire remains under investigation in Coshocton County.

The sheriff's office said Thursday they received a 911 call about a mobile home fire on County Road 106 in Linton Township.

When fire crews arrived the home was fully engulfed. Upon investigation it was found that a male subject was beneath the home attempting to thaw frozen lines when the fire started. The man became trapped under the mobile home and died as a result of the fire.

 The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said one man is dead after a one car accident early this morning.

Just before 6 a.m. officers were dispatched to an accident on SR 751 near Bakersville. Upon arrival they discovered that Jeremiah Myers of Coshocton struck a tree in the roadway, lost control and went off the right side. He then over corrected, going off the left side of the roadway, before rolling into a ditch.

There's a Christmas Grinch stealing trees in Coshocton County. 

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said around 6a.m. November 27, an unidentified male stole two Christmas trees that were being sold at Buehler's by a local boy scout troop.

 The Coshocton Sheriff's Office reports a sting operation turned into a chase.

On Wednesday around 5:30 pm Coshocton undercover officers met an adult male who believed he was there to meet a 12-year-old girl he had solicited for sex through Facebook.

 A bicyclist was killed in Coshocton County Monday evening after being struck by a dump truck.

Shortly after 4:00 p.m. dispatchers received numerous 911 calls in reference to the bicycle and dump truck accident at State Route 83 and County Road 271.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said it is searching for a suspect involved in an assault early Tuesday morning. 

Deputies said just before 2a.m. they responded to the 500 block of South 7th Street in Coshocton and found 38-year-old Jeffery Allan Lutgen. 

Lutgen told authorities he was in an alley near 748 Vine Street when an unknown male assaulted him. 

He suffered a laceration to his lower abdomen and an jury to the left side of his head.
