The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office and West Lafayette Police make arrests in a Sunday night breaking and entering. 

Authorities said just after 11p.m. they received a call of a possible breaking and entering at the 751 Carryout. 

As the West Lafayette Police Officer arrived on scene he saw a vehicle leaving the area and attempted to make a stop.

On December 13th at around 10:30 in the morning, the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office received a report of a burglary in progress in the 900 block of Orchard St., in the city of Coshocton.

Deputies quickly surrounded the residence and found the suspect in the upstairs portion of the home. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Justice Center where he is waiting the filing of formal charges.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is reporting another robbery.

At around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning the Sheriff's Office received a report of a robbery at the Chestnut Crossing Apartments. Investigating deputies said the victim, who's name is not being released at this time, was invited into an apartment where he was assaulted by two males. An elderly man was robbed Tuesday afternoon in Coshocton County.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, at around 3 p.m., the office received a 911 call in reference to a male subject being robbed in the 800 block of Walnut Street. Upon arrival, deputies found that a 72-year-old male had been assaulted and robbed as he exited his vehicle at the rear of his home.

A hunter was fatally shot on opening day of gun season.

According to Coshocton County Sheriff Tim Rogers, at around 10:30 Monday morning, Sheriff Deputies along with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources responded to the 28000 block of Twp. Rd. 341 in reference to a deceased hunter.

Upon arrival a 63-year-old male hunter was found in his tree stand and was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gun shot wound.

One person dies in a house fire in Coshocton County.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said that around 6:50 a.m. Tuesday they received a 911 call in reference to a house fire on Perry Township Road 370 with a person trapped inside.

Walhonding Valley Fire, Coshocton County EMS and deputies responded to the scene. Additional fire departments were called.

The person was later found dead in the home.

Two people are behind bars, after a bust in Coshocton County Wednesday night...

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said deputies conducted a search warrant Wednesday evening, at a home in the 100 block of Park Avenue in the City of Coshocton. What was supposed to be a fun filled hunting trip turned turned into a nightmare for one man when he got lost in the woods.

Timothy Miller and his brother- in- law, Scott decided to take the two and half hour drive from Cleveland to Coshocton to hunt deer on Sunday evening, when Scott became tired, Miller decided to stay in the woods and hunt a little bit longer.
