One person was killed and another injured in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon on State Route 93 in Coshocton County.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, at around 2:30 Monday, the driver, 47-year-old Brad Yoder lost control of his motorcycle. He was transported by Med-Flight to Akron General Hospital. His passenger, 37-year-old April Yoder was pronounced dead at the scene. Both were from Killbuck.

Mr. Yoder's condition is not known at this time, the accident...

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office releases information into a search of a home in the county.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said 59-year-old Rodney Rogers was arrested and charged with five counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, a felony of the fourth degree.

Authorities said Rogers was arrested after the sheriff's office conducted a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of West Liberty Street.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said one person was injured during a Sunday morning accident.

Officials said that around 6:45 a.m. they received a 911 call in reference to an accident with injuries on State Route 83 about a quarter mile north of County Road 12.

Deputies said that 18-year-old Matthew Smollen, of Lucas, Ohio, was traveling south on State Route 83 when his vehicle went left of center, left the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Officials said a buggy accident in Coshocton County injured two Sunday evening.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said just before 5:30 p.m., in the 31000 block of Crawford Township Road 227, they responded to an accident with multiple injuries.

Officials said that Raymond Yoder was loading an Amish buggy when the horse became spooked and took off causing the buggy to roll over.

Two passengers were in the vehicle 39-year-old Amanda Yoder and 9-month-old Jeremy Yoder....

American Electric Power reported that some customers woke up without service Tuesday morning.

AEP's outage map indicated that 399 of its customers were in the dark. At one time that number was over a thousand. Power has since been restored.

Coshocton County Sheriff's Dispatcher's said they also dealt with some power outages in the city of Coshocton. Power has since been restored in that area.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office makes a large bust, resulting in the discovery of drugs, stolen vehicles and the arrest of two individuals.

According to Sheriff Tim Rogers, on Thursday, the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 22357 Twp. Rd. 105 in Oxford Township. As a result of the warrant, cash, multiple firearms and methamphetamine were taken. Also, several stolen vehicles were identified and an additional search warrant was obtained.

Detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office take six people into custody following two search warrants. 

The Sheriff's Office reports on Monday, March 24 at around 5p.m. detectives executed the search warrants  at 25167 County Road 10 in Keene Township and 25128 Township Road 384 in Bethlehem Township. 

As a result cash, multiple firearms and over 12lbs of marijuana were seized. Officials estimate the street value of the marijuana at over $80,000. ...

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

At 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning, the sheriff's office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a disturbance on Coshocton County road 410 approximately a half mile from the intersection of Coshocton County Road 9. According to the sheriff's office, a caller stated there were gunshots fired after an argument broke out. The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office believes alcohol and excessive speed caused a crash in Coshocton County Tuesday night. 

Officials said that around 8:20 p.m. dispatch received several 911 calls in reference to an accident in the 1700 block of Chestnut Street. When  deputies arrived they found a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Eric Franks of Coshocton was traveling east on Chestnut when he lost control and struck two parked cars.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted robbery. At around 5:30 Tuesday, the Sheriff's Office received a call of a robbery at the Circle K located at 502 S 7th St. Coshocton.

A white male entered the store and demanded all the money from the cash register. The subject then fled the store without receiving any cash.
