At the start of the season, Rosecrans head coach Todd Rock said there would be at least a few blemishes on the Bishops record after 20 regular season games. Even in the 1997 run to the state championship when Rosecrans went 26-2, there was a loss in the regular season. Tonight, for the first time in 18 years, Todd Rock's prediction fell by the wayside as the Bishops defeated Tusky...

The first time Zanesville and Tri-Valley squared off, the Blue Devils cruised to a 20 point victory. Tuesday night in Dresden was a much different tale. After scoring only 30 points in the entire game January Eighth at Zanesville, the Scotties had 31 with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter, taking a nine point lead into the final frame. That's when the Zanesville magic finally made its way to Dresden. Thanks to a 20-9 fourth quarter, featuring three pointers from Christian Meyers, Kade...

When you type a kid's name into google and the page explodes with youtube highlights, you know he's a big deal. With a 6-3, 215 pound frame, division one school's such as West Virginia, Toledo and Akron saw Zach Shaw as a big deal, but only one fit the mold for the Coshocton linebacker. In one of the biggest signings in Redskins history, Shaw signed to play Big Ten football at Indiana University. When one person is sick, they can make everyone around them feel ill. That was the case for the Zanesville Blue Devils, as Rian Burrell's flu-like symptoms hampered Zanesville's attack against River View. The Blue Devils recovered to snare a 62-33 victory over the still winless Black Bears, but Zanesville had just a two point lead with two minutes to play in the third quarter, but finished the game on a 32-5 run to secure their 12th win of the year. Tanner Gibson leading all scorers with a...

The last time Rosecrans (14-0) earned a number one ranking in 1999, the Bishops immediately fell in a trap-game at Bishop Watterson. This time around, Rosecrans pulled out the victory over their former C.C.L. opponent one day after being named the top ranked team in Division IV. However, it didn't come easy at the Eagles Nest. Bishop Watterson (3-10), who played unbeaten Bishop Hartley and St. Francis Desales to four and two-point games respectively, led by one with one minute to play. That'...
