Ed Allender loves music so much that he decided to open his Zanesville home up for a concert and jam session Sunday afternoon.

The Muskingum County Center for Seniors and country musician, David Church, have teamed up to help raise money so the center can purchase a new bus. Executive director Terry Dunn says the center will host Church and other musicians for a big show coming up on April 26.

The Muskingum County Center for Seniors is hosting a "Country Christmas to Remember" this Saturday featuring both Christmas and country music by Nashville artist, David Church.

The sold out show takes months to plan and the Secretary of the Muskingum County Fair Doug Guinsler, says booking a big act is a long process.

"We start late October, early November. We meet with, we're very fortunate in this city to have a guy named George and Variety Attractions. Local country music artists are being acknowledged.

The 25th Annual Muskingum County Country Music Hall of Fame day was held at Roger's Auction Barn in Adamsville. While deceased members were honored, seven new members were inducted this year.

The Hall of Fame president says these individuals must meet certain qualifications to become members, one is that the musician must have performed for over 15 years.
