Contractors met with the Muskingum County Commissioners this afternoon to compete for a local renovation project.

The "Y" Bridge Arts Festival came to a close this evening proving to be a major success after only its third year.

Muskingum County Commissioners met as part of the investment committee Thursday afternoon.

The Muskingum County Center for Seniors may be looking at a new home.

Executive Director Terry Dunn says they are currently looking at new construction of a senior center in Muskingum County.  Although the project is at its very early stages, Dunn says they are looking at the possibility of funding and locations. Mission Oaks Foundation is in the process of transferring some land to the Muskingum County Parks District.

Phase one of the project dealt with the transfer of deeds for the property. Already the Parks District has built a new building on Pitman Street that is for the use of the community.

In the wake of last Thursday's tornadoes, areas surrounding Perry County pulled together equipment to provide them with the help they needed. Muskingum County offered many of the necessary resources.

A water tank in Sonora needs some new paint and some repairs. The Muskingum County Commissioners opened up bids for the job on Thursday.
