The Cambridge Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol says that Brian Pippin, 28 was driving his 2004 GMC Sierra truck south on Byesville Road near Three Bridges at approximately 2:51a.m. Sunday Morning.
Pippin failed to negotiate a left hand curve and went off the side of the road. The vehicle continued to roll until it reached an upright position . The post said Pippin was not wearing a seat belt and was later ejected from the vehicle.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene just before 10 a.m. on SR 22 and Township Road 49 near Fultonham on Thursday. The crash happened on Perry Road in Zanesville just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. State Highway Trooper Brian Hawkins says speed played a factor when a vehicle lost control and went off the side of the road and says the two occupants in the vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
The two passengers are not the owners of the vehicle and could have possible injuries. Hawkins says he has descriptions of the passengers and is trying to locate them.
