Zanesville 47 Marietta 56

The Lady Devils fall on the road, dropping their fourth ECOL contest of the season. Marietta won the game thanks in large part to the damage they did at the free throw line; shooting 32 free throws to Zanesville's nine. Kailee Howe had 18 points and ten rebounds in the loss. Zanesville now must win on Saturday against Dover, and hope for a Marietta loss against River View to create a three way split...

Boys Basketball

Cambridge 41 Zanesville 63

The Blue Devils take the season series over the Bobcats for the second straight season in impressive fashion. In the first game of the series this year, Zanesville needed a last second shot off the hands of Christian Meyers for the two point win. This time around, it wasn't as close. Cambridge and Zanesville were tied at eight after a quarter of play, then the game got away from Mike Andrews' club.

Wheeling Park 58 Zanesville 41

The rough weekend continues for the Devils after a 17 point loss to the Patriots. Coach Scott Aronhalt felt his team came out flat, something that he knew his teamc ouldn't do against a very talented Wheeling Park team. Michael jebbia played ten kids, and only one failed to score. They outrebounded the Blue Devils 39-18, and actually pulled down six offensive...

Rosecrans 39 Zanesville 38

In the prelude to the boys' game looming, the Rosecrans-Zanesville girls provided enough excitement to last both fanbases until Friday night, and beyond. The Lady Devils took a 12-8 lead into the second quarter, but an 8-0 to start the second for the Lady Bishops gave them their first lead of the night, one they would not relinquish. It seemed every time Zanesville got close, Roscrans had an answer.

Down the stretch, the Lady Devils hit...

Another tough loss for the Muskies at the hands of the Tornadoes.
