It's officially the most wonderful time of the year. Wednesday evening, December 3rd, Main St. was flooded with holiday spirit as hundreds flocked to downtown Zanesville for the annual Miracle On Main St. holiday celebration.

The Zanesville -Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce held their first ever Spring Golf Outing at Eagle Sticks Golf Course on Thursday afternoon.

The Zanesville Downtown Association is currently calling for members. The mission of the group is to oversee the revitalization of downtown Zanesville.

Fire erupted Sunday morning at 19 South Sixth Street, destroying a historic Zanesville building.

Zanesville firefighters battled the blaze for several hours, initially from the inside, until they reached the fourth floor when they discovered most of the floor and roof to the were already burned away.

It was the grand opening of a new business in town that caters to motorcycle enthusiasts.

After the housing slump started a few years ago, real estate activity in downtown Zanesville is beginning to pick up again.

"In the mid-2000's things were going pretty strong and then 2008-2009 things slowed down again. I'm very excited to say that there's real estate available in the downtown area both large and small, commercial and residential," said Dana Matz, Manager of the Downtown Zanesville Association.

Healthcare reform is a heavily debated topic in Washington D.C. People in Muskingum County want to know how the Affordable Care Act affects their businesses.
