A Zanesville man charged in connection to a New Year's Eve shooting in Zanesville faced a judge on Monday for an initial hearing. 

In Zanesville Municipal Court, Darrin Wade, bond was continued at $500,000.  Wade faces charges that  include aggravated robbery, felonious assault both with firearm specifications and having a weapon while under a disability. 

A preliminary hearing is set for January 14.

A Zanesville man wanted in connection to a New Year's eve shooting in Zanesville has been arrested.

Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says Darrin Wade was arrested in Canton on Thursday.

Miller says Wade was brought back to Zanesville Friday and is currently in the city jail.

A Zanesville man will spend a year in prison after a drug bust by the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office.

Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court 27-year-old James Allen Wade pled not-guilty to a fourth-degree-felony charge of trafficking in crack cocaine. Judge Kelly Cottrill immediately sentenced him to one year in prison.

A man is sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday for charges stemming from a Zanesville drug bust.

26-year-old Darrin Wade pled guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to a third-degree-felony charge of trafficking in crack cocaine, a third-degree felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two men arrested following a drug bust in Zanesville last month pled not-guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two Zanesville men are in custody in connection with a drug bust on Tuesday. It happened at 206 Mead Street. 

The Sheriff says seven grams of cocaine, $500  in cash, a small amount of marijuana, several prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were recovered during the investigation.
