Due to cold weather and school closings Christ's Table needs your help now more than ever.

The Annual Zaap Gallery Art Auction is just one day away and organizers are saying it's an event you don't want to miss.

On Tuesday, the Moose Lodge presented the Muskingum County Hunger Network and the Muskingum Valley Miracle League each with a check totaling over $4600. Moose Lodge Administrator Ron Baughman said it took about a year of fundraising to make the donations possible.

It takes more than just food and volunteers to keep Christ's Table running.

Executive Director Keely Warden knows that all too well. While Warden is thankful for the "great group of donors" that donate to Christ's Table, she says she wants to reach out to the youth in our community and also try to get residents to commit to donating on a monthly basis.

The Salvation Army is in desperate need of help from the community.

They operate primarily on grant money and from the support of the public, and every Christmas they provide presents for thousands of children and food for over 600 families.
